Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: July 22, 2026
CIMA is a marketing platform for mortgage companies. Businesses connect their advertising accounts (such as Meta and Google), CRM systems, and websites to CIMA. This page explains how to have that data deleted. These instructions apply to data CIMA holds, including data received through the Meta and Google APIs.
How to Request Deletion
There are two ways to request deletion:
- Disconnect the integration in the app. Sign in at app.cima.ai, open Settings, and disconnect the platform connection (for example, the Meta or Google ad connection). Disconnecting revokes CIMA's access and starts deletion of the associated data.
- Email us. Send a request to support@cima.ai from the email address associated with your CIMA account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Tell us which connection or what data you want deleted. We will confirm receipt and verify the request using your account email.
What Gets Deleted
When a deletion request is processed, CIMA deletes:
- The stored authorization credentials (OAuth tokens) for the connection.
- Ad account data synced from the platform, including campaign, ad set, and ad records and their spend and performance history.
- Lead records, conversion events, and analytics data associated with the connection.
- Cached page and account metadata for the connection.
Timeline
Requested data is deleted from our production systems within 30 days of the request. We will confirm by email when deletion is complete. If any data must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, we will tell you what is retained and why.
